Origin of Kievan Rus knyaginya saint Olga c. 890–925 – 11 July 969 years



Many people might know that Kievan Rus was created in 10 century and after rule of Oleg, there was knyaz Igor (some might say Ingvar).
The wife of Igor was Olga. Her rule is later recognized as Church makes her saint Olga.




There was a Russian magazine "Russkaya starina" here is the first page:

Mention the red marks. It tell us from where is great knyaginya saint Olga.

It says that in 903 history written by Nestor (Russian writer) mentioned that saint Olga great knyaginya/princess of Kievan Rus was born in city Pliska (the last red mark).


The red marks are about that Igor was married in Bulgarian city Pliska (the capital city at that time) and his wife was Olga.

Later she was mentioned in relation to prejvitter Gregorius:

He was also Bulgarian and he helped Kievan Rus to became literate and Christian.
